I am so happy and grateful to be a guest blogger on
Satsumabug’s Blog! (<—Click here, mom!)
For those who don’t know her already, Lisa is a fabulous “writist and an arter” with a real knack for creating online community and even though I’ve never met her, she is also a great friend. (Isn’t the blogging world wonderfully strange like that?!)
Please follow that link up there to see what I wrote about writing, playing, and Cindy Sherman, one of my favorite artists.

Thank you for the sweet words, Anna! I feel just the same way about you!
It really is a treat to have you on the Open Mic.
I am grateful for the chance to try something new. Thank you so much, friend!
Oooh, I’m getting all warm and fuzzy about you guys! I’m so glad you met each other here in the blogging world.
But Re, you are the one who introduced us. You are the Master of knowing-good-people-and-maintaining-relationship. You should be paid in gold for what you do. Someday we’ll have a reunion-a union?-so we can all meet in the flesh. xoox
Such a wonderful piece, Anna, I really enjoyed it. I’ve been a fan of Cindy Sherman’s work for many years, for many of the reasons you described. She’s innovative, original, and totally unafraid. We could all do worse than to follow her lead.
She is amazing, isn’t she? A spectacular icon of creativity.
